Vanadinite, 2.5 cm, from the Hamburg mine, Silver district, Arizona; collected in spring of 1978 with David Shannon. This was found in a pocket that yielded 45 flats of thumbnail to museum sized specimens. Years later David and Graham Sutton drove a tunnel in search of another great pocket to no avail.
