Vanadinite, 5 cm, from the North Geronimo mine, La Paz County, Arizona. A mass of large crystals cemented together by calcite. Collected with George Stevens. When in the mine, I noticed that someone had stacked rocks to hide an opening. Upon removal, a watercourse lined with vanadinite extended about 10 feet and about as wide as a body could fit.
