Quartz, 21 cm, from the Perseverance pocket, Hallelujah Junction, Petersen Mountain, Washoe County, Nevada; collected with Jack George and Joe George. This looked like a nothing pocket, but I kept at it and it produced the finest scepter I’ve ever found. My profile picture shows the moment just after extraction.
