Gold, 5.7 cm, from the Mockingbird mine, Colorado area, Whitlock District, Mother Lode Belt, Mariposa County, California (reinforced). Acquired from Stuart Wilensky in June of 2007. Illustrated in Mineralogical Record (May–June 2007, May–June 2012), Le Règne des Minéraux (March–April 2007), Rocks & Minerals (September–October 2008, May–June 2012), the Wilensky Fine Minerals book (volume 4, 2013) and other publications; the other photos are oriented vertically.
