A really dramatic gorgeous spray of intergrown chalcocite crystals forming in an unusually elegant cluster; and from a newly important modern locality that surprised the mineral collecting world with specimens in 2021-22. This piece is complete front and back, almost a floater (with a small attachment point at the base stalk), and is composed of chalcocite that, somehow, formed crystal upon crystal without falling over. I cannot recall seeing a "fanspray shape" like this from other locations, certainly not in this size. Individual crystals reach 3 cm and the piece is just dramatic, and unexpected for this metallic species.
