These surprisingly beautiful, rich pink apatite specimens came out in the early 2000s from the famous emerald producing region of Colombia. Most of them were thumbnails, and few exceeded 3 cm, particularly without repairs. This fine full miniature is from the long held personal collection of dealer Jeff Collins, an American who moved to Colombia and acts as a broker/seller of minerals among other things. Nearly pristine but for a few tiny tiny dings. Complete all around, it is truly a jewel.
