Calcite with Sphalerite
A wonderful combination specimen from this classic Indiana locality. A grouping of amber colored semi lustrous translucent calcite crystals 5.5 cm in length is set nicely on a limestone matrix with crystallized groupings of sphalerite measuring to 1.2 cm in size. These two species rarely occurred together at this locality. This piece is in super condition and very choice. From the 1970s.
