A fabulous miniature sized gold from the famous finds of 2015, this piece features exquisite crystallization on both sides; and with unusually robust gold crystals of several different habits. Although many golds came out of this discovery over a few years, this is a special style that is quite different from the more jaggedy, cluster-like appearance of so many (and it is now totally closed for specimens, being worked by a multinational for gold ore). The large crystal is 3 cm, and elongated, with overgrowth of gold upon a spinel twin underneath. 17.55 grams; and from the collection of retired dealer Jordi Fabre of Barcelona.
