Yes, you did see this right. What an astonishingly beautiful Arizonan Native Gold this is. Ex Dick Morris Collection, this magnificent crystallized Native Gold heralds from the Sunshine #5 Claim in the Castle Hot Springs area, Bradshaw Mountains, Yavapai County. Everything about this Native Gold is exceptional: from its tremendously rich golden-yellow colour; stunningly complex net-like formation of crystallized branches and leaves; to its small contrasting white piece of matrix, reminding us of its host rock and formation. Compared to the few others I have seen from this locality this one is not only much larger, but is also so much more aesthetic. It really is a treasure.
