Compared with Western Australia specimens of Native Gold from Victoria in the south east of Australia are seen less often, but when they are good they really do have a lot of character to them. This larger thumbnail specimen is a real classic, featuring a fine, albeit slightly rounded, cubo-octahedral crystal of bright Native Gold perched upon milky-white vein Quartz.
