Many tiny dark brown glossy sparable Cassiterite crystals invest grey-green Chlorite alongside rich double-sided blade-like aggregates of small brown platy Siderite crystals and white elongated 'needle' Quartz crystals. Indeed, it is the Siderite and Quartz which most catch ones attention due to their unusual, and quite dramatic form. This classic Cornish assemblage is very nicely provenanced to the specific level (No. 5) and lode (Harriet Lode) in Wheal Pendarves. Ex Bruce Grant Collection, no. 1753.
