Anglesite with Fluorite Galena and Sphalerite$7,500.00

Wire transfers available, to set up
It is sometimes forgotten that some of the largest and most impressive Anglesite (lead sulphate) crystals in Britain have come from Derbyshire. This magnificent specimen from Martin Kershaw's collection (no. 465) is not the absolute largest by any means, but it just presents so perfectly, both in terms of its overall shape and freestanding form, but also the way it sits for display on matrix. It reaches 2.2 cm tall by 1.3 cm wide and consists of several parallel crystals all nicely alligned so that from the front it looks just like one. This crystal sits proud of a matrix consisting of colourless Fluorite cubes, Galena and Sphalerite with a little Pyrite on the back. In terms of quality, this is certainly one of the best individual Anglesite crystals we have seen from either Millclose mine, or Derbyshire in general.
