A thin plate of Dolomite is encrusted down one end by a thickly developed growth of dendritic aggregates of Native Copper which are tarnished and oxidized on the surface to dark green Malachite. The display surface of the Dolomite is quite sparry, with many pearlescent rhombic crystal faces showing an orange-cream to beige colour, but underneath and on the back of this plate the unweathered Dolomite is much greyer. This type of mineral assemblage is less often seen at Tsumeb, making this an unusual piece. Small cabinet in size.
