From finds of around 2018-19, this is a now-classic example of Malkhan tourmaline from the Sosedka area pegmatites, with its cranberry red color, glassy luster, and strong striated "style" that is impressive when standing in a case. The crystal has no repairs nor restoration, but is admittedly contacted in back (where it grew against something else) and is therefore odd in shape on the reverse side. That being said, it looks great from the front and actually backlights better because it is a bit less deep than expected, with good lighting. So, it is a relative bargain for the size and impact of a Russian tourmaline of this size, and again without repairs. The termination is exquisite and sharp. 115 grams.
