A beautiful pastel blue crystal showcasing a thin layer of plumbogummite, replacing the original pyromorphite here and "caught in action" part way through his process. You can see how a few millimeters of replacement occurred, while the main core of the pyromorphite was not reached and chemically altered, making for both a beautiful contrast and an interesting specimen. From finds circa 2010, this is a rather large single crystal and a full miniature-sized specimen. In fact, it is one of the larger crystals, that I have seen (and I was there on the ground when they came out, not two hours from our office/gallery location).
