I will not even try to describe this strangely twinned fluorite crystal from Erongo. It has a juicy green color, and a unique shape that seems twinned, but is very different than the usual spinel twinning we see in fluorite. It is from a small pocket of these strange shaped crystals that came out in the winter of 2024, and was sold off at Tucson in 2025 by a team of Russians that apparently found them. The crystal is 7 x 4 x 3 cm, approximately, and looks like a spaceship from Dune more than a normal fluorite crystal. Even the jaded can be surprised by the fluorite variety from this unusual region of Namibia!
