A beautiful, unusually slender and elongated multicolored tourmaline crystal from the classic Russian deposits known as pegmatites, that have produced tourmaline for hundreds of years. However, recently (approx 2010-19) one major section was mined out for both science and specimen recovery. The crystal has moderate luster and excellent translucency combined with a pleasing, complex color palette. This crystal has no repairs nor restorations and gives a good representative specimen for the price. 27 grams.
