Dioptase with Duftite
Unknown Owner
This superb small miniature Dioptase specimen is an unconventional classic from Tsumeb mine. Well-known for exceptionally well-crystallized gemmy Dioptase crystals, what is more unusual is its association with Duftite. This fantastic piece presents that combination of two shades of green extremely well. The Duftite, as is often the case is extremely finely crystallized, but the Dioptase crystals are much more visible - reaching 6 mm in length - and are perfectly formed.
