Tsumeb mine is renowned for having produced some extremely fine Azurite crystals. This miniature specimen presents a very fine aggregate of several very glossy, sharp, bladed, dark blue terminated Azurite crystals, some developed parallel to each other, but with others grown cutting across. On one side the Azurite crystals are matt and mid-blue in colour, but on the main display side they are all extremely reflective and very dark blue in colour. The longest crystal reaches a little over 2 cm in length. There is the occasional chip to the edges of the crystals, but overall they are in very good condition and present nicely as a crystal group.
