A splendid, stout prismatic crystal of Azurite measuring to 2.5 cm tall from the New Cornelia mine at Ajo, in the Little Ajo Mountains of Arizona, USA. The Azurite crystal is a rich deep blue with areas of bright electric blue. Several more Azurite crystals are clustered around the specimen's base together with minor green Malachite. The dominant Azurite crystal has partly grown on a contact at the rear of the specimen. A magnificent Azurite from the New Cornelia mine.
