A sparkly, very unusual and very showy fluorite specimen coated with pyrite from the famous Yaogangxian Mine! This combination is very rarely seen from this famous mine, and only found in a few pockets over the many years we have been following the mine closely (since the mid 1990s). Gemmy to translucent, blue-gray, stepped cubes to nearly 3 cm across are almost completely covered by a thin, but super sparkly layer of glittery, brass-yellow, micro pyrite crystals that cover all of the broad, front-facing faces. With windows on the sides into the green-blue interior, this makes for an eye-catching specimen! Rarely have I seen this type of composition of pyrite on fluorite from anywhere! Very aesthetic! We suspect this is from much older finds, though it turned up to market only recently.
