This rich miniature of silver sulphosalt heralds from the historic silver-cobalt mining town of Oberschlema in Erzgebirge, Saxony, Germany. I have to say that the photograph gives the impression of a aggregate of finely crystallized Pyrargyrite, but the video picks up much better the larger (to over 2 cm across) pseudohexagonal form of the several Stephanite crystals, perhaps with smaller Pyrargyrite crystals developed upon the surfaces of the larger Stephanite crystals. A fantastic old-time crystallized silver sulphosalt from Saxony.
