Geocronite
This would be a gorgeous metallic thumbnail no matter what it was made of; but it happens to be a superb example for this very rare species, featuring a sharp crystal of 2.1 cm perched on, and displayed as if on a natural pedestal, another geocronite below. The composition and geometry here is mesmerizing and Alex considered this to be among best of species for his taste, and certainly a competitive thumbnail specimen.
