Classic very deep violet-purple coloured Fluorite on paler matrix from the Zehntausend Ritter mine, Schreckenberg, Annaberg-Buchholz, Erzgebirge, Saxony, Germany. There is some minor chipping around the crystals towards the edges of the specimen, but it displays nicely as a classic Saxony Fluorite, larger miniature in size. Texture-wise, these Fluorite crystals have very smooth matt crystal surfaces and extremely dark, to almost opaque interiors. Their purple colour stands out more around the edges of the sample where light shines inwards. Individually, the crystals reach up to 1.3 cm on edge. Ex Hettrich Collection.
