Tucson, Arizona, USAThis really rich, vibrant grass-green Pyromorphite from Martin Kershaw's collection (no. 217) was recorded as from "Zeophau, Saxony" but appears more likely to be from Halsbrücke in the Freiberg District, Erzgebirge, Saxony, Germany as it presents the classic appearance seen in this area. Both the Beihilfe mine and Lorenz Gegentrum mine are known to have produced this type of Pyromorphite. At small cabinet size and with rich coverage including thick crystallized aggregates of glossy green divergent prismatic crystals this presents an excellent display of Pyromorphite from the Freiberg area.
