The great miniature specimen contains a lovely 2.5cm vug filled with beautiful, lustrous wendwilsonite crystals up to 6mm in length associated with calcite. The matrix contains minor greenish blue austinite giving the specimen a unique feel. This piece is from the collection of Dr. Wendell E. Wilson, Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of the Mineralogical Record who the mineral was named after and is from the type locality Bou Azzer, Morocco.
