This attractive wendwilsonite miniature has 6 large, lustrous magenta crystals up to 1.4mm in length sitting on salmon colored dolomite. Twin planes can be seen on the lustrous crystal faces. This exceptional piece is from the collection of Dr. Wendell E. Wilson, Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of the Mineralogical Record who the mineral was named after. This is a excellent opportunity to get such an interesting specimen and is from the type locality Bou Azzer, Morocco.
