An attractive plate of dark magenta wendwilsonite crystals cover a 11x7cm area. Lustrous crystal groups up to 1cm play beautifully against the brown dolomite background. This fantastic piece from the type locality Bou Azzer, Morocco, is from the collection of Dr. Wendell E. Wilson, Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of the Mineralogical Record who the mineral was named after.
