Distinctive well-formed blocky crystals of the exceptionally rare copper arsenate hydroxide hydrate species Euchroite are clustered and scattered over a typical black-brown gossan matrix. The crystals of Euchroite are the characteristic mid-green colour for the location, with clusters measuring to 1.4 cm across. Anything approaching a good crystal of Euchroite is extremely rare, making this fine specimen from the Type Locality area of Lubietova, Slovakia very fine indeed. Certainly a specimen for the advanced systematic collector, or specialist in copper arsenates.
