A beautiful Colorado amethyst from a classic locale. The Commodore Mine in Creede has produced some of Colorado’s best amethysts, often associated with various (and equally nice) sulfides. This is a great example, featuring nicely colored amethyst, chalcopyrite, sphalerite, and galena. Classic!
