From a classic find in the late 1980s, gemmy purple crystals of quartz, the variety known as an amethyst, measuring to 1.2 cm in height are coming off of lustrous black twinned crystals of sphalerite. Crystals of calcite are scattered throughout. This is in good condition. A beautiful combination piece.
