A beautiful and well crystalized example of rhodochrosite from N’Chwanning II. While not the coveted scalenohedral rhodochrosite from N’Chwanning I, N’Chwanning II rhodochrosites are still very desirable and less common on the market. This specimen shows textbook style for the mine and features small, but rather lustrous gemmy crystals. Best of all, this specimen exhibits red fluorescence under UV light – a rarity for the species! In excellent condition all around. A true South African classic!
