A great large-cabinet example of rhodochrosite rosettes on quartz with what is likely kutnohorite (a great rarity from Sunnyside) from the famed collection of Dr. Miguel Romero (1925-1997). While the locality was only attributed as “Silverton” this specimen is almost guaranteed to be from Sunnyside. Includes large acrylic base with faux-wood plaque in Spanish. Very neat.
