A wonderful and large floater specimen of etched spessartine garnet from the Navegadora claim in Minas Gerais, Brail. These etched garnets are prized for their unique look, high luster, and deep cherry color. While it doesn’t fully backlight, some color can be seen through the edges, as pictured. Still, a good value for a specimen of this stature from the locale – with extremely high luster and intricate etching. Nice!
