A gorgeous twinned emerald green sixling alexandrite from Zimbabwe. The twin faces are all on the same plane producing a single flattened face that showcases the cyclic nature of the twin. The specimen is complete all the way around and is in great condition. The specimen exhibits a color shift from green to red when a light is shone from behind the stone. To find a color change sixling alexandrite is quite the rarity. Previously the dominant source of these specimens was Russia but low supply and high demand made the prices out of reach for the average collector. With this new production from the Novello Mine collectors are able to procure specimens for less significant prices.
