Garnet Var Almandine
An excellent quality specimen of garnets on a quartz and mica matrix. Lustrous faces and sharp edges on the garnets, which are a deep red. Nice color contrast and the crystals have been exposed well. The dodecahedral crystals have beveled edges which make for an aesthetic, complex form. Ex. Mel Bersch, Dick Dayvault 1976
