A lovely sharp single golden pyrite crystal sits on a darkly lustrous metallic black hematite. From the famed Rio Marina mine in Italy. This locality is well known to produce some of the worlds best combination specimens of pyrite and hematite. I purchased this specimen when I last travelled to Italy from a collection. An exceptionally nice specimen at a reasonable price point.
