Dioptase
Unknown Owner
Tsumeb is perhaps the finest locality in the world for dioptase. This specimen is quite a fantastic example from this now closed locality. It features a large 1.9cm isolated crystals arranged on a white bed of calcite. The largest central crystal juts up vertically from the plate making a nice focal point. A modern classic!
