An impressive large matrix plate with lustrous twinned crystals of sphalerite measuring to 5.0 cm in size covering a chert matrix. Golden crystals of chalcopyrite are scattered throughout. In good condition with very minimal cleaving present, a fine old time classic for this mining district.
