The quality of this individual Beryl var. Aquamarine crystal from Barra de Salinas at Coronel Murta in Minas Gerais, Brazil is breathtaking. The perfection of its uppermost termination is staggering, with a large smooth pinacoid terminal face and completely undamaged sharp terminal edges. This is juxtaposed with its natural but irregular base, undamaged but formed through natural geological etching processes. Because of this base it comes with a custom-made Sunnywood display stand so that it stands perfectly for display. Colourwise, it presents a soft pale aquamarine-blue with a hint of green and enthralls with its wispy internal translucency like gazing into a crystal ball. A really special Brazilian Aquamarine.
