This excellent natural Diamond crystal is not only really well-formed, but is a great size for viewing too - reaching 11 x 9 x 7 mm. Octahedral in overall form it displays some wonderful triangular stepped growth lines on some crystal faces. It is from Sierra Leone which lies on the west coast of Africa. For display and handling purposes it is mounted on a small acryllic pedestal/column which is further mounted on a broader cylindrical base.
