This is a lovely small miniature individual Beryl var. Aquamarine crystal from the Barra de Salinas deposit at Coronel Murta in Minas Gerais state, Brazil. It has great symmetry, with smooth well proportioned prism sides, a flat base and a parallel flat pinacoid termination. Not only that, but it has a rich pale blue colour too, with fine zonation from translucent and blue at its base up to transparent near its termination. There is minor chipping to the corners around the termination, but it presents nicely.
