This is an extremely rare locality specimen from Priester mine at Neustädtel, Schneeberg, Erzgebirgskreis, Saxony, Germany. Although this specimen is only miniature in size the Pyrargyrite crystals are nicely formed, really glossy, and reach 4 mm across and sit nicely on the crystallized white Calcite matrix. Furthermore, such precisely provenanced Pyrargyrite specimens from Schneeberg are very unusual and desirable. Minor Pyrite is also present.
