This elegant and beautiful silver crystal cluster is composed of long silver crystals that look and seem like wires...but they are indeed actual crystals. China has produced specimen silver wires from many localities (at least half a dozen) and these recent finds, I am told, are often sold as coming from the more widely known Hongda Mine in another province. They are actually from small finds in this region, and mostly occur as single small ropey clusters. This has a particularly nice style and robustness to it.
