A classic from Arizona, this specimen shows off colorful, artful, gracefully rising pastel-blue stalactites of chrysocolla-infused quartz. This is a superb miniature with all tips in pristine condition — unusual. There are two main styles here: the sparkly ones with small quartz druse atop; and this more artful style with a softer surface texture but also more translucency. Just gorgeous in person, and it glows a spectral blue when backlit. Old material from several pockets, primarily in the 1960s-80s. This was in the miniatures collection of retired dealer, Keith Williams.
