If you like Celestine and like specimens with their own distinctive character then this large cabinet specimen from Stoneco Lime City quarry might prove interesting. The Celestine crystals are all really superb blocky orthorhombic crystals but more akin to what one associates with Orthoclase Feldspar than Celestine. Their form is accentuated by wonderful colour zoning and changes in lustre between selective crystal faces from glossy pale blue to matt white. This has the effect of drawing attention to the crystal faces, and their superb form. Individually the crystals reach 3 cm in length and present really well in different angles.
