With a creamy-yellow core and vivid purple outer edges this classic Denton mine Fluorite really does light up wonderfully with back-lighting. Reaching 9 cm across on its longest side it is a great size for display and its edges show only minor wear. Small crystals of Chalcopyrite are sparsely scattered over its surface adding to its detail. The main display face of the Fluorite reveals complex 'stepping' of the cubic surfaces and on one edge lovely well-defined banded colour zoning stands out. A very pretty classic from Denton mine.
