Choice Colorado classic with blocky bluish green crystals of microcline, this is the variety of the species known as amazonite, measuring to 3.0 cm in size on a thin granite matrix. Crystals of smoky quartz to 4.0 cm in height are present. Like most all of these combination specimens from this area, this has been repaired. What at first appears to be damage on the main quartz crystal termination, is completely natural crystallization.
