Simply a stunning cluster of unusually large, jet black Schorl crystals from the Erongo Massif! This specimen is complete all around with a gorgeous 360-degree view that is dominated by two massive prisms (reaching up to 10.2 x 7.3 centimeters). Every crystal is well-formed and finish with sharp, somewhat complex terminations, which are highlighted with a distinct three-point outline along its edges, distinctly trigonal in form. The Schorl has a strong luster that is beautifully complemented with a splendidly etched, stepped surface texture that gives the specimen a dramatic and glittery presentation. This piece comes with a custom acrylic base.
