As its name suggests, the Copper Queen Mine produces some of the best copper minerals in Arizona, and this massive, three-dimensional piece certainly lives up to the reputation. Fully lining the interior of a contrasting rust-brown gossan matrix is a steep, even cavernous, landscape of gorgeous and extremely bubbly Malachite botryoides that are almost comparable to the well-known Congo material. The Malachite beautifully grades from light to dark forest green color and has a velvety, microcrystalline surface that gently glistens under any direct lighting. This piece comes with a custom acrylic base.
